"Team Bass" The Club

Ones expertise usually has to get
its start somewhere and for me it
was joining together with a bunch
of guys in forming a "Bass Club."
This was in the mid to late 80's.
We competed against each other
on week-ends by moving around
to various bodies of water to hone
our skills. Then on a monthly
basis we would meet to critique
our prowess.
Periodically we would schedule a
special evening and invite the
"significant others" to join us
where we would dine, pass out the
awards, and party.
I partnered in team tournaments
with several of these guys. From
each i learned and honed my
skills. I owe them a great deal
